Upgrading Instructions¶

These instructions are for people who are upgrading from a previous version of Advertising Manager, or from Adsense Manager.

Upgrading from Adsense Manager¶

1. Disable Adsense Manager from the plugins screen (1):

Note: Advertising Manager will not function until Adsense Manager is disabled. Note that if you do not disable Adsense Manager first before enabling Advertising Manager, you will receive a notice asking you to disable Adsense Manager (1):

Upgrading from a previous version of Advertising Manager¶

1. If there is a new version of Advertising Manager available, there will be a notice posted underneath the Advertising Manager plugin. If your permissions will allow, just click the 'upgrade automatically' button (1) in the plugins section to upgrade Advertising Manager:

If you cannot upgrade automatically, you need to upload the files via FTP to your plugins directory in the same manner as the Installation Instructions

Make sure you read the Release Notes so you are familiar with the changes associated with the new version.
